 Our History
Dent’s is the Cambridge security specialist. Opened in 1870 by Robert Dent as a locksmith he provided a service to the University and to the terraced housing expansion in the city at that time. In the mid 1990’s Dent Security was established to meet the increasing need for alarms and electronic security to work alongside the traditional locksmiths. Our goal was to bring Dent’s traditions of quality and service to the high tech security industry. Today Today we pride ourselves on being able to use the latest technology whilst continuing to value traditional craftsmanship. The two companies work alongside one another to provide a complete seamless service to clients of all sizes. Our Service Based on free survey we can offer an integrated solution of electronic and physical security to meet any circumstances. We serve East Anglia, operating within a 50 mile radius of Cambridge in order to provide the best possible service. We can offer Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, Entryphones, locks, safes, and security grilles and shutters. All backed up by personal service and after sales care. You don’t need to go anywhere else. Our Quality As part of our commitment to quality Dent Security secured NACOSS approval in 1997, and achieved the coveted NACOSS gold accreditation in 2004. Dent’s is a long standing member of the Master Locksmiths Association. Our ethos remains unchanged. We are proud to be local.
