According to the Metropolitan Police studies show it is far less likely that you will become a victim of burglary at home if you have a correctly fitted and properly maintained burglar alarm. For peace of mind it is strongly advised that your alarm system is professionally maintained.

Newly installed Dent’s alarm systems
If your alarm is installed by Dent Security, then the cost of your alarm system will include the first 12 month’s call out cover and maintenance checks due during the first year. If your alarm system is audible only we will service your alarm at the end of every contracted year. If it is connected we will attend twice during the contracted year, the second being at the end of the period. At that point you’ll be offered the option of renewing a maintenance contract with Dent’s, offering you the call out facility and ‘preventative’ maintenances in the same pattern for the forthcoming year.
Unlike some security companies, with us there are no long tie-in periods to cover the installation cost of your system. You simply renew with us, if you wish to, each year.
Alarm systems installed by other security companies

What happens on a maintenance visit?
Our engineer will carry out the checks below, in accordance with our NSI NACOSS Gold accreditation. He will leave you with a signed appraisal of your system and advise of any remedial work which may be required.
1. Check installation and siting of all security devices against original specification.
2. Check operation of detection devices.
3. Check condition of cabling and connections.
4. Check mains and stand-by battery power supplies.
5. Check control panel.
6. Check remote signaling equipment.
7. Test remote signaling equipment on monitored alarms.
8. Test audible alarm devices.
